Who are we?
Growing up in the Tri-Cities area, we started out as a group of friends that got together to help create a thriving community by contributing to triathlon development and creating opportunities for youth. We all had our start working as lifeguards where we first connected with the community and saw a need for more sport and recreation opportunities for adults and youth looking to discover the joys of triathlon. Slowly, over the last few years, we have grown into what you see today!
We pride ourselves in always keeping a focus on community development. We run as many programs at low cost to lower the barriers to entry to the sport. We’ve been trying to give back to the community that helped shaped who we are as individuals, and are always on the look out for like-minded individuals to join us in partnerships and program offerings.

About the Club
Tri-Cities Triathlon Club is a member of Triathlon BC, not-for-profit Provincial Sport Organization (PSO) and the governing body for triathlon in British Columbia. The club itself is also a not-for-profit organisation.
The Tri-Cities Triathlon Club is a non-profit society, with income received from training fees and various fund raising activities. The money is spent on facility rentals, coaching salaries, and club administration.
The purpose of the club is to develop competitive excellence, from a Learn-to-Swim level to world-class competition. In doing so, we hope to instill self-discipline, leadership and sportsmanship in all the athletes who swim with us.
